Take a look at the population clock. It shows an estimated population of the world as well as the United States. There is also a graph showing population in the United States by age and sex. A graph of the population by region is also available.
What do you notice about the population between the world and the United States?
What was the population of the US the day you were born? What is the population today?
Look at how often a death happens and how often a birth happens. Do you think this means the population is increasing or decreasing?
